Herb’s Ribs

Ingredients

  • Big Rack of Babyback Ribs
  • Your favorite BBQ Sauce
  • Butter
  • .5 cup water
  • Tablespoon Salt
  • Tablespoon Chili Powder
  • Tablespoon Paprika
  • Tablespoon Pepper
  • Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • .5 Tablespoon Coriander
  • .5 Tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Cayenne
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin

Instructions

  1. Combine all spices in a bowl.

  2. Generously coat both sides of the ribs with the spice mixture.

  3. Refrigerate the seasoned ribs for at least 4 hours.

  4. Place a few thin slices of butter on top of the ribs.

  5. Add water to the pan.

  6. Bake ribs in the oven at 280°F for 3 hours.

  7. Brush a light layer of BBQ sauce over the ribs.

  8. Increase oven temperature to 350°F and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
